# The Tazers

## About

The Tazers are a three-piece psych-rock band from Johannesburg, South Africa. Active since 2015. The current line-up is Jethro Lock (guitar, vocals), Timothy Edwards (drums, vocals) and Werner Jordaan (bass, vocals). They have released three full-length albums - "Plastic Kids" (2019), "The Machine" (vinyl exclusive - 2023) and "Fantasy Factory" (2025) - plus five EPs (Time Machine, Love Machine, Dream Machine, Fuzz Machine, Outer Space). Their breakout single "Wake Up" has surpassed 2.7 million Spotify streams. They have toured Europe four times and were nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2020 South African Music Awards (SAMAs).
